Mountain Phoenix Pecan Brownies
Ingredients:
3/4 pound melted butter
1 1/4 pound granulated sugar
3/4 teaspoon coarse salt
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon ground
1 teaspoon cinnamon1 teaspoon ground espresso
2 eggs
2 ounces cocoa powder
8 ounces flour
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
• Preheat oven to 325 degrees
• Combine the melted butter and sugar, blend until smooth
• Add salt, vanilla, coffee, and cinnamon
• Continue to stir until all ingredients are well mixed
• Add eggs
• Combine the cocoa powder and flour, add to butter mix and nuts and blend well
• Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
