What’s the Best Gourmet Coffee in the World? Right this minute…

Mountain Phoenix is proud to introduce the Ethiopian Idido Misty Valley Organic coffee to our amazing collection of single origin coffees.  This is honestly one of the best coffees I have ever cupped in my life!! It is as close to a perfect coffee that I have ever seen.  We laid down just a picture perfect roast on this great coffee, and the results have been spell-binding: Upon brewing, you will notice a profound chocolate blueberry aroma that just floats around the cup like it has its own aura! After first sip, you are hit with awesome textures of deep chocolates and spices, until finally the coffee leaves your pallet with just a heaven-like blueberry aftertaste. This coffee is now on sale at Sacred Ground Coffee, as well as on our website. We brewed it for the first time on Monday, and our customers just flipped out! I have to be honest, I think it was without a doubt the best cup of coffee being brewed within a 1000 mile radius. Really..It was that good!

This coffee may sometimes take a little longer to ship, as we are only presently roasting it in very small batch quantities, so please keep that in mind when you order!

What makes this coffee so unusual?- It comes from the small town of Idido, at the highest growing regions of the Yirgacheffe area.  The Idido is very rare in that it is one of a very select few batches of Yirgacheffe coffee that are still dry proccesed. What this means is that the coffee bean was left to dry inside the coffee cherry, picking up lots of fruity overtones in the cup.  the Harar region in Ethiopia are renowned for their sundried coffees, but most Yirgacheffes are strictly washed coffees, which means that the cherry pulp is removed first, then the beans are sundried.

Naturally sundried coffee can often times be a little wild and wooly, but not this one! It has been perfectly harvested, perfectly dried, and perfectly sorted.  What this usually transfers into is the perfect cup!
